She is a New York state certified psychologist\, and the author of eight books\, including the critically acclaimed\, The Dark Side of Love\, and her two most recent books\, My Mother\, My Daughter\, My Self and The Hormesis Effect. Dr. Goldberg is a prolific essayist\, having written numerous articles in the fields of psychoanalysis\, cancer\, and mind/body health.
