Her early career focused on psychodiagnostics and neuropsychology. Combining that with psychoanalytic training\, she became involved in neuropsychoanalytic studies in the early 2000’s. Dr. Bratt is a director at ACAP\, and BGSP-NJ. She is president of the National Association for Advancement of Psychoanalysis (NAAP) and the NJ Certified Psychoanalysts Advisory Committee. As Director of Applied Psychoanalysis at ACAP she developed it’s program in Trauma & Resilience Studies\, and in 2018 launched the iStrive Center: a weekend program for young adults on the autism spectrum. \nDr. Bratt has been faculty and training supervisor at several psychoanalytic institutes and universities. She has served as a frontline mental health specialist in disaster situations\, domestic violence intervention\, and family court. She is the author of articles including topics such as\, “Working with Memory Impaired Trauma Victims”\, “Fearless: Resistance to Resilience”\, ”Loneliness\, Longing and Love”\, and “Reciprocal Resilience”. She is the Director of Academic Affairs\, At ACAP\, \, and its academic partner BGSP-NJ\, and a grant writer supporting community mental health education initiatives for workers who serve vulnerable populations. \nDuring COVID-19 she helped form ACAP’s SafetyNet remote\, free-of-charge counseling program to help meet the mental health needs of the community\, and to provide ongoing field placements for advanced students. \nDr. Vaccaro is an Associate Professor at Caldwell University and coordinator of their Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Specialization in Art Therapy Master’s degree program. She received a doctorate in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Counseling Education and Supervision from Argosy University. She also specializes in clinical supervision of mental health professionals looking to broaden their therapeutic skills. Dr. Bratt is Director of Institutional Innovation and Communication at the ACAP\, and its academic partner BGSP-NJ (NJ’s branch of BGSP). She serves as Dean of Research at ACAP and is a faculty member for the MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling offered at ACAP\, New Jersey’s Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis campus. \n\nVicki Semel\, PhD\, PsyD\nVicki Semel is a psychoanalyst\, psychologist\, and former political scientist practicing in Livingston\, NJ. Her work includes treatment of individuals\, groups\, and couples. She has a specialization in geriatric treatment. With 30 years of working in clinical practice and teaching in psychoanalytic institutes\, Semel addresses the most complex diagnostic and interpersonal problems of patients\, as well as the countertransference issues confronting supervisees and students. \nDr. Semel is the Executive Director/President of ACAP since 1987\, Program Director of the BGSP-NJ Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (NJ’s branch of BGSP)\, since 2015\, and a faculty member in that program. \nShe is a former faculty member at CMPS (Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies) and Rutgers University-Political Science. She is on the NJ Psychoanalytic Advisory Committee since 2002. \nDr. Semel has published and spoken widely about treatment issues with the elderly\, narcissistic patients\, effective practices working with difficult people\, and on the clinical training of mental health professionals. Psya\nEva Silver\, a graduate of Simmons School of Social Work and Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis\, has been working in the mental health field for more than 40 years. Her work in numerous psychiatric hospitals and out-patient clinics provided extensive experience with the full range of psychological disorders with individuals\, couples\, and families.
