GPSA 705 Fieldwork Seminar: Working with Resistance in the Stages of Treatment In this segment of the fieldwork experience, students are prepared to work with the unique dynamics in the beginning, middle and end stages of treatment. The course prepares students to work within an ethical framework with a wide range of resistances that present in treatment. Special emphasis is placed on the working alliance, establishing the treatment contract, treatment destructive resistances and counter transferential processes in relationship to working through the beginning, middle and end stages of treatment.
