What kind of CE or Professional Development Hours?

ACAP’s approved provider workshops typically provide 1-2 CE hours. Full academic courses, when approved, are 30 CE hours. Our 3-day conferences are generally 30 CE hours. We offer at least one CE opportunity, plus several other professional development opportunities per month. All CE and professional development CEU, mental health, psychologyevents integrate didactic and experiential elements. In general, no preparation or outside work is required.

This is generally 30 CE credits for a full 15-week course, and 10 credits for a single, six-week course in the One Year Program.

CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION

BGSP-NJ, the New Jersey Campus of BGSP (Formerly ICPS) is accredited by the The New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE, by the US Department of Education (USDOE) as the regional accreditor for the six New England states. As such, and in partnership with ACAP, Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis, it is an approved provider of Social Work Continuing Education Hours for New Jersey Social Workers, as well as many other states, including Pennsylvania. BGSP-NJ’s courses, workshops, and conferences provide Continuing Education opportunities for participants.

BGSP-NJ partners with ACAP and is a NECHE regionally accredited institution, and as such an approved provider of CE hours for NJ Social Workers.

ACAP, Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis (ACAP) is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider, approval #5709, and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. ACAP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.” AS such, ACAP is an approved provider of Continuing Education Hours for: Mental Health Counselors, Art Therapists, Marriage and Family Therapists. ACAP’s courses, workshops, and conferences provide Continuing Education opportunities for participants.

ACAP is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by New Jersey State Nurses Association, accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  Provider Number P297-5/21-24 .

ACAP, an ABAP nationally accredited school, is an approved CE provider for Psychoanalysts in New Jersey.

ACAP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. ACAP maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

All ACAP workshops,  courses and conferences that are co-sponsored by NAAP will grant CEU’s for NYS psychoanalysts and social workers.
