All workshops, conferences, mini-courses, and full academic courses are either hybrid or fully virtual on Zoom.
What kind of CE or Professional Development Hours?
ACAP and BGSP-NJ are approved CE providers for many professions. The number of CE hours allocated for each event is typically noted on announcements and registration forms, as well as on the website.
Full academic courses may also qualify for CE hours. They typically carry 25 CE credits, if requested. Requests for these must be made and paid for at registration for the course. CE evaluation forms are sent to students at the end of the semester. Once they are returned and the Main Office indicates the student has successfully passed the course a certificate is processed. CE requests cannot be made retroactively.
We offer at least one CE opportunity, plus several other professional development opportunities monthly. All events integrate didactic and experiential elements. In general, no preparation or outside work is required for workshops, min-courses or conferences. Regular academic courses generally require registration through the main office, unless otherwise stated in the announcements. They are experiential, and include regular outside reading and possible writing assignments.
