Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis (ACAP) in partnership with a branch campus of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis in Livingston, NJ (formerly BGSP-NJ, now ICPS), offers graduate, post-graduate, Certificate and Continuing Education classes in Psychodynamic Studies and Mental Health Counseling on our Livingston, NJ campus and through distance learning.
ACAP offering a Certificate program in Psychoanalysis that leads to NJ State Certification as a Psychoanalyst has been continuously, nationally accredited by ABAP, the American Board for Accreditation in Psychoanalysis, since 1990.
ICPS, The Institute of Counseling and Psychoanalytic Studies (ICPS), New Jersey Campus of BGSP (Formerly BGSP-NJ) is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE, by the US Department of Education (USDOE)).
The ICPS curriculum is accepted by the New Jersey Professional Counselor Examiners Committee.
