This course prepares professionals to work with respect, awareness and techniques that promote a positive emotional alliance between them and their clients. By developing greater understanding of the impact of diverse backgrounds, varying life stages, or issues from difficult emotional challenges and their interaction with the therapist’s own history, tools for developing a therapeutic alliance are developed.

The recognition of dynamics, early resistances, transference and countertransference factors will be addressed establishing a framework for studying the therapeutic alliance.

The One-Year Program @ ACAP

Our program consists of four courses over one year. It provides an opportunity for mental health practitioners and professionals in various disciplines to enhance clinical skills, introducing innovative, Modern Psychoanalytic principles, theories, and techniques.

Participants will discover effective strategies for designing interventions that can reverse maladaptive emotional and behavioral patterns. Through hands-on learning, they will quickly build practical clinical skills that make a lasting difference in their work with clients—fostering collaboration, self-definition, and meaningful growth.

ACAP’s unique methods for navigating challenging clinical situations can be the key to transforming burnout into renewed professional satisfaction. These approaches are grounded in the foundational concepts of Modern Psychoanalysis, offering both depth and practical application.

Full information about the four courses at
