Ethical Issues in Art Therapy and Mental Health Supervision, 5 hours
This course focuses on practice and technique broadly for mental health professions and narrows to applications of ethics to art therapy practice. Case examples stem from various aspects of supervisory work with beginning to the experienced supervisor. The triadic relationship between the supervisor, supervisee and client will be defined through discussion of the application of technique to everyday supervisory challenges, reflecting a range of sites and settings in which art therapist and mental health practitioners work. Participants are encouraged to bring their own case examples to integrate into the learning process.
